What i hope to accomplish
I want to help people to learn how to safely use their firearms. Firearms can be had for many reasons, such as hunting, collecting, recreational, competition, self defense etc. My hope is to help people whether a beginner learning the basics or a proficient shooter wanting to get their Concealed Carry Permit to be able to do so safely and effectively. I am a forever learner. And I hope you will be too!

The Difference Between Me, and other instructors.
Is the amount of time and information I go into, concerning training and the laws. From what I have personally seen and from students who have taken my class, after already taking other firearms training courses. Is that many other courses teach between 15%-40% of what I teach. I genuinely want you to have the information I wish I had when I was learning about firearms, or doing a concealed carry permit course. There are too many gray areas of when you can and cannot use lethal force. It’s my privilege to help clear that up and provide you with access to information for you to continue to grow and learn. Being a private instructor and working in smaller groups in peoples homes/businesses, allows me to spend more time and tailor specific information during the course to your needs.

I have found that there are a lot of people that appreciate being taught in the comfort of their own home. It is familiar to them, they don’t have to travel, they don’t have to go into a room full of strangers, and with a 1 on 1 you get my full attention.

next steps after completing a concealed carry permit course.
After my (all) Concealed carry permit course you will receive a Certificate of Completion. You will take that Certificate to the sheriff department of the county that you live in. (For Larimer County Sheriff department. You must call first and make an appointment. 970-498-5100 and enter 94 when you hear the attendant’s voice/Fill out information online https://www.larimer.org/sheriff/support-services/concealed-handgun-permits ) They will have you read through a small packet/fill out a background check, you will sign it with them witnessing. (You must have a Colorado license with it matching your current address) The Larimer County sheriff department will then charge you $132.50. You will get finger printed and your picture taken. After that they will hand you back your Certificate of Completion (Save it!) They will mail you your Concealed Carry Permit within 90 days. In 5 years when you need to renew your permit you will go in to the sheriff department of the county that you live in with your Certificate of Completion and pay up to $13 and your permit will last another 5 years for a total of 10 years. It may seem like a lot of money but if you break it all down it ends up being about $10 a month. A great investment!
